Disneyland

        They say that Disneyland is the happiest place on earth....well I would have to say almost :) it is alot of fun....Church and Home would have to be right up there also!!   

       We had to take a day and spend it at Disneyland...Love the ambiance and all the past memories... of going there when my kids were little.  We laughed a lot on the way there and on the way home. OMW a very fun day!!

Pacific Coast Camp

This was our first time to attend PCC....nice youth camp in a great location (by the beach). The preaching was awesome, it was nice to see old friends and make new ones!!  We have family in the Los Angeles area so it was nice to see relatives also.

Milpitas, CA

After our day spent in San Fransisco we headed south and spent the night in a town called Milpitas, CA.  Very close to the Hotel we ate at an Italian Restaurant that was so good.....can't remember the name though.

If you read my previous post about the too small SUV we ended up with, these pictures tell it all.
Jacob took a picture on his cell so they could remember how to fit the luggage back in..heehee.

  It was a lovely discourse and debate every morning.  It seemed the SUV was growing smaller as the trip progressed (or the boys were shopping to much).

Alcatraz Island Pt.2

We toured the island and then last but not least we toured the prison...well that is, the rest of my family did. I started to take the tour with them in this old building that was VERY hot with a bunch of people inside that were also hot and smelly and..... I decided to view the building from the outside:)

So since I was sitting outside waiting for an hour, I soon was employed by people every few minute's to take their group pictures for them with their camera's. I should have charged for every pic I took I'd be a rich woman.

The island is fun and full of history, I would for sure,  return for another visit.

Alcatraz Island Pt.1

We flew into Sacramento late Friday night.....our awesome deal on our rental car proved to not be so great.  The SUV was much smaller than we anticipated, but the boys were determined to fit the luggage in.

We got up early Saturday morning and headed into San Fransisco. Usually the weather can be a little chilly over there, but the Lord Blessed us with 85 degree temps that day.

The ride out to Alcatraz Island was a little bumpy and my stomach was a little queasy but I survived. We had a huge wave that struck us and the boys shirts were damp for most of the day, but with the hot weather I guess it was kinda nice :)

Cousin Katie's Graduation Celebration

Katie my neice has now gradutaed from High School. We had a nice dinner celebration at                  The Salem Mission Mill.

I love this place they have a few cute shops and a little cafe....a lot of history as well. Beautiful buildings and landscape, you need to check it out sometime.
