Olvera Street ~ (PCC 2013)

     Before Caleb and I flew out of Burbank on this day, I wanted to take the boys to the Olvera Street Market.

     My husband had brought myself and Sammy (when he was a baby) many years ago, and I never forgot the wonderful Guacamole that you can buy here. The streets here again resemble Mexico, the flowers are beautiful and the food pretty tasty.

 

 

LA Garment District (PCC 2013)

     I have always wanted to go to the Garment District in LA.  Well, I got my wish.....it sort of reminded me of Mexico (the few times I have visited there, like 2000 years ago!!!!)
    The part of the shops that really interested me were the fabric shops, where you could get amazing fabric for very little in cost. Especially decor fabric..I must come back for a visit!!

While in LA we were able to go out to eat with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law.

Pacific Coast Camp 2013 Pt. 2

Our favorite lunch spot in Ventura is a place called The Habit Burger Grill. Great hamburgers, sandwiches and milkshakes. Also on the list was the Ventura Beach!! LOVE going here!! Had a wonderful day with friends and (checking out the sand crabs).
