Bike-a-thon

The annual Life Christian Academy bike-a-thon....beautiful scenery while putting in the miles.

Oregon Trail

     While in Baker City, we visited the  Oregon Trail Museum such an interesting place and wonderful view.  Eastern Oregon has such a unique terrain.... but very beautiful in a different kind of way.  You can almost imagine an Indian and his horse appearing over the edge of the cliff. Neat place to visit!!

Nando's House

My Auntie Virginia's passing away was a very sad time.  We always called my Aunt by a nickname "Nando",  strange I know but when kids get something started it just stays that way. 

We went to say good-bye to her house before we left Baker City. Her neighbors on both sides have horses that my boys adore. One of the neighbor ladies was babysitting my aunt Nando's poodle, and when the poodle saw my mom (my aunts sister) I think my mom reminded the dog of Nando, the poodle about climbed up in my moms lap.  Very sad :(  

So we said our good-byes and are moving on with life, but Nando will aways be a wonderful part of our memories.

Baker City, Oregon

Baker City is a really cute little town.....many historical buildings and little fun shops. The reason we went to Baker was because my aunt passed away... she will be missed so much!! It was great to see cousins and family, just not for a great reason :(
